Investor Says Group Wants Braves
One Charles Vaughn, last seen trying to move the Expos to Puerto Rico, has announced that he'd like to buy the Atlanta Braves. Interestingly, he made this announcement before contacting Time Warner, which owns the club:

One Charles Vaughn, last seen trying to move the Expos to Puerto Rico, has announced that he'd like to buy the Atlanta Braves. Interestingly, he made this announcement before contacting Time Warner, which owns the club:
"Our firm would like to get involved with the Braves. We are going on the offensive. We are just going to approach them and see."Time Warner hasn't indicated any desire to sell the Braves.
