Racist Comic Postcard Page

This card was still being sold in the late 1980s. I bought it at several Southern tourist traps, including "Magnolia Plantation" along I-75 in Georgia. On one trip, I mailed copies to two friends living in Washington, D.C. The next time I spoke to each of them, their first words were "Don't ever send me anything like that again."

This incredibly offensive card wasn't issued from Birmingham, Charleston or Jackson -- it was published in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The Chinese received similar treatment....
