South Dakota: Murdo

back toward Chamberlain

Murdo is a tiny town with unpaved roads leading off the I-90 Business Route main street. Its Pioneer Auto Museum is one of the country's best, though -- and the nearby motels and tourist businesses harken back to an earlier era of tourism.

Allowing your child to carry this lunchbox is prima facie evidence of child abuse

These lunchboxes are part of the other eclectic collections at the Pioneer Auto Museum. "Disco Fever" brings back unpleasant memories, but the poor child saddled with an "Exciting World of Metrics" lunchbox probably has a strong claim of child abuse.

Thanks, guys. I was trying to forget this era...
